soyla began with something very simple: I watched my daughter buy milk tea almost every day. I did not want to take away something she loved. But as a father of four, I kept asking why an everyday treat needed so much sugar, artificial flavoring, and ingredients I would never choose for my children every day.
I have been vegetarian for many years. To me, food is a daily way to practice care—for our bodies, for animals, for the earth, for our families, and for ourselves. I wanted to make something simple, plant-based, genuinely nourishing, and delicious enough that children would choose it because they love it—not because an adult tells them it is healthy.
That question became soyla: a new everyday drink built around fresh soy, real ingredients, and the belief that pleasure and health do not have to work against each other.
We do not believe healthy food should feel like a sacrifice.
